Katerina Wu

Katerina Wu was the senior data scientist for the Pittsburgh Penguins, and was the first woman hired to work on their hockey operations side. Prior to working with the Penguins, she was a data science intern at Sports Media Technology where she had the opportunity to familiarize herself with NHL player puck tracking data. She graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Economics and a double minor in Statistics and Computer Science.
